A Going away Party!

Gulfport, FL - National Night Out is Tuesday, August 03, 2010.

Gulfport Crime Awareness and Prevention has planned an event along with the Gulfport Police Department.  Participants are gathering at the Neighborhood Center (1617 49th St. S., Gulfport) for a kick off of the "GIVE NEIGHBORHOOD CRIME AND DRUGS A GOING AWAY PARTY". 

The kick off will begin a walk to show a united effort of both (Gulfport and St. Petersburg) – to include residents and businesses from both sides of 49th Street. The walk will start at the Neighborhood Center, 1617 49th St. S.) and go south to the Tangerine Greenway (Tangerine Avenue/18th Avenue South).
 
The Tangerine Greenway will then be the site for the "Going Away Party". 

Bike registrations, free helmets and other free fun!

Music by JD Burrell, food by Hungry Howies.  The intent is for community building, education with a united effort.
