Friday, February 18 – 21: Great Backyard Bird Count. Count for fun – count for

the future! Tally birds at any location, fill out your checklist online, and watch

the counts pour in from around the continent. Great for bird watchers of all

ages.  The City of Gulfport Public Library is also participating providing a bird

book display along with a list of birds in the area. You can stay and view the

books or check them out. The Library is also opened Friday February 18,

Saturday, February 19 and Monday, February 21 for those who do not have

internet access to log in the birds they find to get potential prizes from the

GBBC website. The GBBC web site explains the event and can help answer

any questions you may have. Check out the link at
